Delivery Policy |
|
Delivery and insurance charge to anywhere in Australia is AUD $20.00. Additional
$7.00 charge applies to COD deliveries.
Delivery time to Sydney metropolitan area – usually the next business day, anywhere else
2-7 business days by Australia Post ELADS parcel service. COD delivery adds an additional
day. Every delivery is automatically insured by us.
Upon individual request in certain areas we can arrange Express Post (guaranteed next day)
or same day courier (Sydney metropolitan area only) delivery. Pease contact our sales team on
(02) 9232 2744 to arrange one of these options. Additional charges apply.
Please note; Deliveries are made to the address provided by you when ordering, rather
than to a specific individual. Therefore you should only use an address that is secure and
where all persons are known to you. If there is nobody at the address to accept the delivery
a notification card will be left informing you to pick up the goods from your local Post
Office.

Return Policy |
|
Goods purchased from Dirt Cheap Cameras can be returned within fourteen 14 days
of purchase:
- If found to be faulty for exchange or repair at the manufacturers discretion.
- For exchange providing goods are returned in their original unopened packaging.
Proof of Purchase is required with any return.
For any return you will need to obtain a return authorisation from our company. Please do
not return any items without our Return Authorisation (Number). We do not accept
responsibility for items returned without our Return Authorisation.

Payment Options |
|
Our web site provides secure payment options using any major credit card.
You can choose to give us your credit card details over the phone, or you can place
your order entirely over the phone as well. COD is another payment option you can
select. (Additional AUD $ 7.00 charge applies) In this case you can pay cash, Bank Cheque
or Money Order at the time of delivery (or at the Post Office). Sorry, but no personal
cheques are accepted for COD payment.

|
You can browse around our website and make a purchase without becoming a member,
however membership give the following benefits:
- You can save time next time you checkout, by not having to enter your details twice

Travelling Overseas? |
|
If you are travelling overseas you can purchase goods "duty free" under the
Tourist Refund Scheme. This is explained in detail on the web site of the Australian
Customs Service. Simply, it means that you can buy goods at the normal, GST included prices.
With the Tax Invoice (we provide) you can get a refund of the GST at the airport, if you take
the goods out of Australia within 30 days. Since cameras don't carry duty, this way you end up
paying the duty free price.

How to apply for Rentsmart |
|
It's easy to get all the imaging equipment you need for your business now.
- Visit www.rentsmart.com.au
- Complete the few simple online application screens.
- If you have a good credit rating, shortly after you have completed your application,
you will be emailed/faxed a preliminary approval for the amount you applied for.
- Complete your order on our website choosing COD as the payment method quoting the
reference number of your preliminary approval (in the Additional Comments/Instructions
field clearly marking RENTSMART).
- Again shortly after placing your order you will receive the Rental Agreement from Rentsmart.
- Complete, sign and return the documents.
- Soon after that we will despatch your order.

How to pay using BPAY |
|
- Telephone & internet Banking - BPAY Call your bank, credit union or building
society to make payment from your cheque or savings account.
- You can now choose to pay for your order via the convenience of BPAY. To do this
you will need to have registered as a phone or Internet banking customer with your
financial institution.
- Simply select the BPAY option at the 'Payment Method' drop down on your shopping cart
when you are ready to finalise your purchase.
- You will be presented with our BPAY 'Biller Code' - 44164 - and your 'Ref' ('Customer
Reference Number') and the final amount of your purchase.
- Please record these details then proceed to your financial institutions Internet or
phone banking facility to process your transaction.
- Your order will commence processing one business day after we have received full payment
from your financial institution.

Updating your Email address |
|
To update your account email address you will need to Contact us with your request, the new email address and the current password for
your account. Please allow up to 48 hours for our customer service team to update your account. Once your
account is updated, the new email address will be required to sign in and all emails regarding future orders
will be sent to the new email address.

Retrieving your Password |
|
To have your account password sent to you, click on the "Retrieve password" link on the
sign in and modify your profile page, or directly by visiting our Retrieve password page. Type
the your account email address in the email input box, then click "Retrieve". Please note
the email address you enter in the email input box must match your account email address.

Order Status |
|
You can track the status of your order by clicking the Order Status link in the top right corner
or side navigation bar of most pages on our site. Here you can track your order as it moves through the
various stages of the order process.
Simply select the order number you want to track. The status of the order will reflect one of the following:
- In Process. We have received
your order and are in the process of confirming payment, verifying delivery address, product availability and preparing for dispatch.
- Dispatched. We have successfully
received your payment and your order is currently on route via the delivery method selected at checkout.
- Completed. We have been informed
by the delivery carrier that your order has been delivered. If you have not received your order
or instructions on how to collect your order please Contact us immediately.
- Pending. We are awaiting
payment or in the process of credit card verification. Your order will be dispatched upon approval.
- Back Ordered. We are currently
awaiting inventory in our warehouse.
- Cancelled. Your order has been
cancelled due to discontinued products or your request.
- Returned. Your order has been
returned to our warehouse and either payment has been reversed or we are in the process of exchange.
- Unavailable. We are unable to
verify the status of your order and will contact you shortly.
